Alchohol Interaction PID 3 KIT may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Pregnancy Interaction PID 3 KIT is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of PID 3 KIT during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Common Side Effect Altered taste, Vomiting, Headache, Dizziness, Stomach pain, Nausea, Indigestion, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label before use. PID 3 KIT is to be taken with food.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.PID 3 KIT may cause dizziness or seizures. This may affect your ability to drive.
Kidney PID 3 KIT is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.Caution to be advised in patients with impaired renal function.
Liver PID 3 KIT should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of PID 3 KIT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action PID 3 KIT is a combination of two antibiotics (Azithromycin and Ornidazole) and an antifungal (Fluconazole). Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Ornidazole kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Fluconazole works by stopping the growth of fungi in the body. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
