| Common Side Effect | Ankle swelling, Headache, Tiredness, Palpitations, Increased potassium level in blood, Sleepiness, Cough, Altered taste, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Decreased blood pressure, Stomach upset. |
| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Perindosyl- AM 4/5 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take it preferably in the morning. |
| Driving | Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Perindosyl- AM 4/5 Tablet usually does not affect alertness but dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients. This may affect your driving ability. |
| Kidney | Perindosyl- AM 4/5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Perindosyl- AM 4/5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Caution should be advised in patients with renal impairment. |
| Liver | Perindosyl- AM 4/5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Perindosyl- AM 4/5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine. |
| Mechanism of action | Perindosyl- AM 4/5 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and perindopril which lower blood pressure effectively. It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently. |
