Lactation Interaction Amtas Prp Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Ankle swelling, Headache, Tiredness, Palpitations, Increased potassium level in blood, Sleepiness, Cough, Altered taste, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Decreased blood pressure, Stomach upset.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amtas Prp Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take it preferably in the morning.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Amtas Prp Tablet usually does not affect alertness but dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney Amtas Prp Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Amtas Prp Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Caution should be advised in patients with renal impairment.
Liver Amtas Prp Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Amtas Prp Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine.
Mechanism of action Amtas Prp Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and perindopril which lower blood pressure effectively. It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
