Alchohol Interaction Alcohol may increase drowsiness and dizziness while you are taking tolterodine.
Pregnancy Interaction Tolra ER 2 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Tolra ER 2 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.Long-term use of Torq 2mg Tablet SR might reduce milk production.
Expert Advice Reduces abnormal contractions of bladder. Can take up to 4 weeks before you see an improvement in your symptoms. Helpful in men with urinary symptoms caused by enlarged prostate. Avoid caffeine, alcohol or carbonated drinks as they can worsen your symptoms. Kidney Tolra ER 2 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Torq 2mg Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Tolra ER 2 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Torq 2mg Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Tolra ER 2 Tablet is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination.
