Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Weakness, Sleepiness, Increased liver enzymes.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tolnim Tablet is to be taken with food.
Driving Tolnim Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Tolnim Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tolnim Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Tolnim Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Tolnim Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Tolnim Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nimesulide and Tolperisone which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works on brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
