Alchohol Interaction Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.
Pregnancy Interaction Temsujohn 0.4mg Tablet ER is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Temsujohn 0.4mg Tablet ER is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Kidney Temsujohn 0.4mg Tablet ER is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Temsujohn 0.4mg Tablet ER is recommended.However, limited information is available on the use of Temsujohn 0.4mg Tablet ER in patients with end stage kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Temsujohn 0.4mg Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Temsujohn 0.4mg Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Temsujohn 0.4mg Tablet ER is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily.
