Alchohol Interaction Taking Dicyclomine+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Sumo L Spas Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Sumo L Spas Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Dryness in mouth, Blurred vision, Sleepiness, Weakness, Nervousness.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sumo L Spas Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving It is not known whether Sumo L Spas Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney Sumo L Spas Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sumo L Spas Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Sumo L Spas Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Sumo L Spas Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Sumo L Spas Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Mechanism of action Sumo L Spas Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen which relieve abdominal pain. Dicyclomine is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.
