Alchohol Interaction Taking Atorvastatin with alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Stomach pain, Headache, Dizziness, Weakness, Edema (swelling), Constipation, Muscle pain, Increased glucose level in blood, Numbness of extremity, Flushing of skin, Decreased blood pressure, Increased liver enzymes.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Starcad 12.5 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
