| Lactation Interaction | Stamlo D 5mg/12.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. |
| Common Side Effect | Glucose intolerance, Sleepiness, Headache, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Tiredness, Palpitations, Nausea, Increased blood uric acid, Decreased potassium level in blood, Altered blood lipids. |
| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stamlo D 5mg/12.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. |
| Driving | Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Stamlo D 5mg/12.5mg Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive. |

| Mechanism of action | Stamlo D 5mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide which lower blood pressure effectively.tAmlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which relaxes blood vessels and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow. |
