Pregnancy Interaction Rolospaz Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Rolospaz Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Dryness in mouth, Sleepiness, Weakness, Nervousness, Dizziness, Blurred vision, Heartburn.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rolospaz Tablet is to be taken with food.This will help to avoid stomach upset.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Rolospaz Tablet may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Rolospaz Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rolospaz Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Rolospaz Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rolospaz Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.
Mechanism of action Rolospaz Tablet is a combination of two medicines: dicyclomine and diclofenac which relieve pain.tDicyclomine is an anticholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). By doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
