Expert Advice It can be taken with or without food. Rofegee may cause fewer stomach problems as compared with other NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen. It can also affect kidneys or cause permanent kidney damage if taken for a long time. Rofegee can raise your risk of blood clots, heart attack, or a stroke. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Common Side Effect Abdominal pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Gastritis, Edema (swelling), Constipation, Palpitations, Heartburn, Flatulence, Dizziness, Diarrhoea, Increased blood pressure, Dyspepsia.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Rofegee 25mg Tablet MD may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving It is not known whether Rofegee 25mg Tablet MD alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Rofegee 25mg Tablet MD in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.Use of Rofegee 25mg Tablet MD is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Rofegee 25mg Tablet MD should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rofegee 25mg Tablet MD may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Rofegee 25mg Tablet MD is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
Mechanism of action Rofegee 25mg Tablet MD is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) called COX-2 inhibitors. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
