| Common Side Effect | Nausea, Vomiting, Respiratory tract infection, Fungal infections in the mouth, Headache, Hoarseness of voice, Sore throat, Cough, Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain, Increased heart rate. |
| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not chew, crush or break it. Do not swallow these capsules by mouth. These capsules are inhaled using a special inhaler, usually once daily as directed. Inhale 2 times per capsule to make sure you inhale all of the drug. |
| Driving | Ibiflo 6mg/250mg Nexcap may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Ibiflo 6mg/250mg Nexcap is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ibiflo 6mg/250mg Nexcap may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. |
| Liver | There is limited information available on the use of Ibiflo 6mg/250mg Nexcap in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.A careful monitoring by the doctor is advised in these patients. |
| Mechanism of action | Ibiflo 6mg/250mg Nexcap is a combination of two medicines: Formoterol and Fluticasone. Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Fluticasone is a steroid which stops the release of certain natural substances that cause inflammation (swelling) in the airways. Together, they make breathing easier. |
