Alchohol Interaction	Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.
Pregnancy Interaction	RENISONE 1% DROPS may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction	RENISONE 1% DROPS is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Expert Advice	Take with food to avoid an upset stomach. Dose is decreased or tapered over time. Most side effects occur with high doses and on long-term use. Your risk of getting an infection may become higher. Tell your doctor immediately if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, cough, painful urination, or a wound that does not heal.
Common Side Effect	Electrolyte imbalance, Redistribution/accumulation of body fat, Bone degradation, Increased risk of infection, Muscle disorders, Increased blood pressure, Altered bone growth, Skin scar, Behavioural changes, Increased glucose level in blood, Cataract.
How to Use	Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. RENISONE 1% DROPS may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving	RENISONE 1% DROPS may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney	RENISONE 1% DROPS is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of RENISONE 1% DROPS is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as careful dose selection and regular monitoring of kidney function tests are advised while you are taking this medicine.
Liver	RENISONE 1% DROPS should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of RENISONE 1% DROPS may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action	RENISONE 1% DROPS belongs to a group of medicines called as glucocorticosteroids. It increases the level of corticosteroids which are already present in the body and helps to treat various inflammatory conditions. It has anti-inflammatory, metabolic, immune, and hormonal effects on the body.
