Alchohol Interaction Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.
Pregnancy Interaction Rabin-DFX Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Rabin-DFX Capsule is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Flatulence, Indigestion, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Flu-like symptoms.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rabin-DFX Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Rabin-DFX Capsule may cause headaches, blurred vision, dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Rabin-DFX Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rabin-DFX Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Rabin-DFX Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rabin-DFX Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended in patients with liver disease if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.
Mechanism of action Rabin-DFX Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Rabeprazole which relieve pain. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling). Rabeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor which prevents damage to the stomach lining caused by Diclofenac.
