Expert Advice Consult your doctor about taking the ritonavir if you had a history of hepatitis A or B, hemophilia, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, kidney disease, any kind of infection, stiffness or aches or pains in joints, weakness or pain or tenderness in muscles, light-headedness, dizziness, fainting episodes or abnormal heartbeat.Ritonavir tablets should always be taken with food.Use effective methods of contraception to avoid pregnancy.Do not drive or operate machinery as ritonavir can cause dizziness or sleepiness.
Common Side Effect Altered taste, Headache, Nausea, Diarrhoea, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), Dizziness, Cough, Abdominal pain, Throat pain, Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand).

Liver Ritomune 100mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ritomune 100mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Ritomune 100mg Capsule in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
Mechanism of action Ritomune 100mg Capsule is an anti-HIV medication. It works by interfering with an enzyme (protease), which is required by HIV-infected cells to make new viruses. This stops the production of new viruses.
