Expert Advice Dizziness or fainting may occur, especially when rising from a lying or sitting position. Getting up slowly may help improve the problem. These effects may get aggravated by consuming alcohol during exercise, in hot weather, or when standing for long durations. May affect your eye muscles; this should be harmless unless you are scheduled for a cataract surgery.
Common Side Effect Dizziness, Headache, Drowsiness, Weakness, Low energy, Palpitations, Nausea.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Minipress XL 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Minipress XL 5mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Minipress XL 5mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Minipress XL 5mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Minipress XL 5mg Tablet may be started with a low dose and then increased further. Regular blood pressure monitoring is advisable for dose adjustment.
Liver Minipress XL 5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Minipress XL 5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
