| Driving | Twinblok Trio Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |

| Mechanism of action | Twinblok Trio Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Chlorthalidone, metoprolol and cilnidipine. They work by different mechanisms to provide better control of blood pressure when single or dual therapy is not effective. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate and reduce blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body via increased urination. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow. |
