| Expert Advice | Ranolaz prevents new attacks of angina but does not stop an acute attack. Does not affect heart rate, blood pressure at rest or during exercise. Improves HbA1c and blood sugar levels in diabetes patients. Avoid driving or using machinery if you feel dizzy after taking Ranolaz. May produce changes in the ECG (QTc interval prolongation). It is recommended to get an ECG done 1 to 2 weeks after starting Ranolaz. Notify your doctor if you are taking any other medications along with Ranolaz |

| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ranolaz 500mg Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Taking it with food may lessen the chance the Ranolaz 500mg Tablet SR will upset the stomach. |
| Driving | It is not known whether Ranolaz 500mg Tablet SR alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. |
