Expert Advice Take with food to avoid an upset stomach. Dose is decreased or tapered over time. Most side effects occur with high doses and on long-term use. Your risk of getting an infection may become higher. Tell your doctor immediately if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, cough, painful urination, or a wound that does not heal.
Common Side Effect Electrolyte imbalance, Redistribution/accumulation of body fat, Bone degradation, Increased risk of infection, Muscle disorders, Increased blood pressure, Increased glucose level in blood, Skin scar, Altered bone growth, Cataract, Behavioural changes.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Prednosis 4mg Tablet is to be taken with food.Avoid Prednosis 4mg Tablet with dietary sodium.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Undesirable effects, such as dizziness, vertigo, visual disturbances and fatigue are possible after treatment with Prednosis 4mg Tablet. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney Prednosis 4mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Prednosis 4mg Tablet is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of Prednosis 4mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
