| Lactation Interaction | Phyllocontin 350mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby. |
| Expert Advice | It is better to take Phyllocontin in the evening around 7-8 pm for protection against asthma symptoms throughout the night. Phyllocontin will not work for sudden wheezing or asthma attacks once they start. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Not as effective as steroid inhalers for asthma. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Notify your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with the kidney, liver or heart disease, or have a smoking history. Your dose may need to be adjusted. Taking Phyllocontin can reduce the requirement of steroids by 50%. |
