Alchohol Interaction Peridon 1mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy Interaction Peridon 1mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Peridon 1mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Works well in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. You may feel dizziness and drowsiness when you start taking Peridon. For the first week, avoid activities that require you to be alert. Peridon may cause weight gain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar. Tell your doctor if you have any unusual thoughts or behavior, inability to control muscle movements, or fever and excess sweating. Some people may experience severe muscle problem on taking high doses or on long-term use. Tell your doctor if you’re one of them.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Peridon 1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Peridon 1mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Peridon 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Peridon 1mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Peridon 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Peridon 1mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
