PENETAL 30 MG/100 MG TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.However, take it with a lighter meal as it takes a longer time to work when taken with heavy meal. |

| Mechanism of action | PENETAL 30 MG/100 MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Sildenafil and dapoxetine which treat male erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitor which works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation and enables its erection following sexual stimulation. Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the level of serotonin in nerves to increase the time to ejaculation and improve control over ejaculation. |
