Alchohol Interaction Taking Aceclofenac+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Parflex Tablet SR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of Parflex Tablet SR during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach pain / epigastric pain, Loss of appetite, Heartburn, Diarrhoea.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
Driving Parflex Tablet SR may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Parflex Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Parflex Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Parflex Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Parflex Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Parflex Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Parflex Tablet SR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Mechanism of action Parflex Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen which relieve pain. They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
