Alchohol Interaction Taking Nimesulide+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Chlorzoxazone with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Nimucet-MR Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of Nicip- MR Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Stomach upset, Sleepiness, Weakness, Increased liver enzymes.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicip- MR Tablet is to be taken with food.This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn.
Driving Nimucet-MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Nimucet-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nimucet-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Nimucet-MR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Nimucet-MR Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Nimucet-MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Nimesulide, Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and Chlorzoxazone which relieve pain and relax the muscles.Nimesulide is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works on brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
