Lactation Interaction Nicomnol 2mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Good medication for preventing blood clots. For best results, take Nicomnol at the same time every day. Requires regular blood test (PT-INR), to make sure Nicomnol is working properly. Nicomnol increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, using sharp objects or engaging in contact sports (e.g. football, wrestling). Notify your doctor if you see blood in your vomit, urine or stool (black, tarry stools or bright red blood). Interacts with food or other medicines; hence require frequent dose changes. If you are going to have a surgery or dental treatment, you may be asked to stop taking Nicomnol temporarily. Nicomnol should not be used in the pregnancy. You may breastfeed. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicomnol 2mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Nicomnol 2mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Nicomnol 2mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nicomnol 2mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Nicomnol 2mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Nicomnol 2mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Nicomnol 2mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Nicomnol 2mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Mechanism of action Nicomnol 2mg Tablet is an oral anticoagulant. It acts by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it inhibits them from growing larger and causing serious problems.
