| Expert Advice | For oral tablets: Neomycin tablets are not recommended for children below six year of age. Some patients (infants, elderly, obese and cystic fibrosis [genetic disorder that affects lungs] patients) may require monitoring of neomycin levels in blood to prevent damage to the ear and kidneys. Caution is advised in patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease or any disease characterized by muscle weakness, or in patients about to receive general anesthesia. Caution is also advised in patients who are exposed to loud noise, or patients who have been dehydrated due to diarrhea or vomiting. |

| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Neopred 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. |
| Driving | Neopred 20mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive. |
| Kidney | Neopred 20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Neopred 20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |
| Liver | There is limited information available on the use of Neopred 20mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor. |
| Mechanism of action | Neopred 20mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. |
