Pregnancy Interaction Mcrofy 1% Gel may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert Advice It can be taken with or without food. Mcrofy may cause fewer stomach problems as compared with other NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen. It can also affect kidneys or cause permanent kidney damage if taken for a long time. Mcrofy can raise your risk of blood clots, heart attack, or a stroke. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Common Side Effect Abdominal pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Gastritis, Edema (swelling), Constipation, Palpitations, Heartburn, Flatulence, Dizziness, Diarrhoea, Increased blood pressure, Dyspepsia.
How to Use Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Apply it on the affected area and allow it to stay before spitting or rinsing.
Driving It is not known whether Mcrofy 1% Gel alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Mcrofy 1% Gel in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.Use of Mcrofy 1% Gel is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Mcrofy 1% Gel should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Mcrofy 1% Gel may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Mcrofy 1% Gel is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
Mechanism of action Mcrofy 1% Gel is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) called COX-2 inhibitors. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
