| Pregnancy Interaction | Lasix HD Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. |
| Lactation Interaction | Lasix HD Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. |
| Expert Advice | Lasix hd helps removes excess water from your body and lower blood pressure. Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate. May cause dizziness in the initial days of treatment. Monitor your blood pressure after starting Lasix hd, and notify your doctor if it hasn't gone down. Notify your doctor if you experience dizziness, tiredness, or muscle weakness that doesn't go away. Take potassium supplements or potassium-rich diet (banana, spinach, coconut water etc) as Lasix hd can decrease your potassium levels and lead to dehydration. Requires routine blood tests to monitor your kidney function. |

| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lasix HD Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. |
| Driving | Lasix HD Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Lasix HD Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lasix HD Tablet is recommended.However, use of Lasix HD Tablet is not recommended in severe kidney disease patients who are unable to pass urine or the kidney damage is due to some medicines. Please inform your doctor. |
| Liver | Lasix HD Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lasix HD Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |
| Mechanism of action | Lasix HD Tablet is a loop diuretic. It acts on kidneys and removes excess water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. |
