Pregnancy Interaction Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Dryness in mouth, Fatigue, Headache, Dizziness, Itching, Rash, Flatulence, Increased liver enzymes.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.Take Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule 30 minutes before food.
Driving Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
Mechanism of action Lanspro D 30 mg/30 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Lansoprazole which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract and helps food move more easily through the stomach. Lansoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
