| Lactation Interaction | LA-Bis 5mg/2.5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. |
| Common Side Effect | Sleepiness, Headache, Ankle swelling, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Slow heart rate, Tiredness, Palpitations, Nausea, Edema (swelling), Constipation, Cold extremities. |
| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. LA-Bis 5mg/2.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it preferably in the morning. |
| Driving | LA-Bis 5mg/2.5mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. |

| Mechanism of action | LA-Bis 5mg/2.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and bisoprolol which lower blood pressure effectively. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while bisoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. |
