Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of KUFLITE TABLET during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Expert Advice Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol if you have a history of severe allergic reactions of skin (Stevens-Johnson syndrome or Lyell syndrome). Do not continue taking ambroxol and contact your doctor immediately, if you notice any damage to skin or mucosa (moist tissue that lines the inner side of nose, mouth, lungs, and the urinary and digestive tracts). Avoid taking drugs that suppress cough (antitussives) if you are taking ambroxol. Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol, if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol if you are breast-feeding. Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol if you have. Severe liver or kidney problems. You may need dose reduction or extension of dosing interval. How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. KUFLITE TABLET is to be taken with food.
Driving It is not known whether KUFLITE TABLET alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney KUFLITE TABLET should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of KUFLITE TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver KUFLITE TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of KUFLITE TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action KUFLITE TABLET is a mucolytic medication. It works by breaking up mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
