Alchohol Interaction Taking indomethacin with alcohol can increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
Pregnancy Interaction Indostar -75 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Indostar -75 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Expert Advice It should be taken with food or milk to avoid getting an upset stomach. It can cause serious complications like stomach bleeding and kidney problems if taken for a long time. IIndostar can raise a risk of blood clots, heart attack, or a stroke. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Indostar -75 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Driving Indostar -75 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Indostar -75 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment ofIndostar -75 Tablet is recommended.However, a regular monitoring of kidney function test and potassium levels is advised while you are taking this medicine. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Indostar -75 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjust ment of Indostar -75 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Indostar -75 Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by suppressing the production of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause inflammation (redness and swelling), fever and pain.
