Pregnancy Interaction Hopril 1.25mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Hopril 1.25mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice You may get a dry cough while using Hopril. Report to your doctor if there is a persistent cough. Hopril may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli. Inform your doctor immediately if you have rapid swelling of the lips, tongue, and throat that may affect breathing. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding. You shouldn’t take Hopril if you’re pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Hopril may cause birth defects or be fatal to your unborn baby.
Common Side Effect Decreased blood pressure, Cough, Increased potassium level in blood, Fatigue, Weakness, Dizziness, Renal impairment.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hopril 1.25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Hopril 1.25mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Hopril 1.25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Hopril 1.25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.
Liver Hopril 1.25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Hopril 1.25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine.
