| Alchohol Interaction | Taking Furosemide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate. |
| Pregnancy Interaction | Lasix 20mg Injection 2ml may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. |
| Lactation Interaction | Lasix 20mg Injection 2ml is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. |
| Expert Advice | Lasix helps removes excess water from your body and lower blood pressure. Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate. May cause dizziness in the initial days of treatment. Monitor your blood pressure after starting Lasix, and notify your doctor if it hasn't gone down. Notify your doctor if you experience dizziness, tiredness, or muscle weakness that doesn't go away. Take potassium supplements or potassium-rich diet (banana, spinach, coconut water etc) as Lasix can decrease your potassium levels and lead to dehydration. Requires routine blood tests to monitor your kidney function. |

| Driving | Lasix 20mg Injection 2ml may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Lasix 20mg Injection 2ml is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lasix 20mg Injection 2ml is recommended.However, use of Lasix 20mg Injection 2ml is not recommended in severe kidney disease patients who are unable to pass urine or the kidney damage is due to some medicines. Please inform your doctor. |
| Liver | Lasix 20mg Injection 2ml should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lasix 20mg Injection 2ml may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |
