| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Drykof Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs. |
| Driving | Drykof Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. |
| Kidney | Drykof Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Drykof Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. |
| Liver | Drykof Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor. |
| Mechanism of action | Drykof Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Pseudoephedrine, dextromethorphan and cetirizine which relieve dry cough. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. |
