Alchohol Interaction Taking Chlorzoxazone+Diclofenac+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Diclonij Super Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of Diclonij Super Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Heartburn, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Dryness in mouth, Weakness, Sleepiness.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Diclonij Super Tablet is to be taken with food.This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn.
Driving Diclonij Super Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Diclonij Super Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Diclonij Super Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Diclonij Super Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Diclonij Super Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Diclonij Super Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Mechanism of action Diclonij Super Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Chlorzoxazone, Diclofenac and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever.
