Alchohol Interaction Taking Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Racemethionine with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Dexia Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Dexia Drop should be used with caution during lactation. \nBreast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. Dexia Drop may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving It is not known whether Dexia Drop alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney Dexia Drop should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Dexia Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Dexia Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dexia Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Dexia Drop is a combination of two medicines: paracetamol and racemethionine which relieve pain and fever. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Racemethionine is an amino acid which promotes the production of cartilage (soft tissue around the joints) leading to joint repair.
