Alchohol Interaction Delcar Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Delcar Tablet is to be taken with food.
Driving Delcar Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Delcar Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Delcar Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of Delcar Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of Delcar Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Delcar Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diethylcarbamazine and Chlorpheniramine which treat parasitic infections. Diethylcarbamazine is an antiparasitic which works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of the parasites (worms). Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness.
