Common Side Effect Nausea, Loss of appetite, Dryness in mouth, Fatigue, Dizziness, Sleepiness, Headache, Allergic reaction.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. D Cet Forte Tablet is to be taken with food.
Driving D Cet Forte Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney D Cet Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of D Cet Forte Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver D Cet Forte Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of D Cet Forte Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action D Cet Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diethylcarbamazine and Cetirizine which treat filariasis.tDiethylcarbamazine works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of these worms while Cetirizine decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness.
