Mechanism of action D-Bose MP 375 Tablet is a combination of three antidiabetic medicines: Metformin, pioglitazone and voglibose. They work by different mechanisms to provide better control of blood sugar when single or dual therapy is not effective. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione which works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor which inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.
