|How to Use
|Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cystop 500 mg/75 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.Cystop 500 mg/75 mg Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
|Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
|Cystop 500 mg/75 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cystop 500 mg/75 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Cystop 500 mg/75 mg Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.

|Mechanism of action
|Cystop 500 mg/75 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metformin and benfotiamine which treat diabetse. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body, and allows better use of existing insulin. Benfotiamine is a synthetic form if vitamin B1 which relieves symptoms of nerve damage such as numbness, tingling, burning, and needle-like sensations in the hands and feet.
