|How to Use
|Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
|Cyclosym TX Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
|Cyclosym TX Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cyclosym TX Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Cyclosym TX Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
|Cyclosym TX Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cyclosym TX Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
|Mechanism of action
|Cyclosym TX Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tranexamic Acid and Mefenamic Acid. Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of clots and controls excessive bleeding during menstruation (periods). Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
