Pregnancy Interaction Cromol Eye Drop is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Expert Advice Your doctor has prescribed Cromol to treat inflammation (redness and swelling) due to allergies of the eye. It treats long-term allergies such as perinneal (throughout the year) or seasonal eye allergies. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
Common Side Effect Vomiting, Nausea, Blurred vision, Chest tightness, Headache, Skin rash, Stinging in the eyes, Throat irritation.
How to Use This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
Driving Cromol Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear..
Kidney Cromol Eye Drop should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cromol Eye Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Cromol Eye Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cromol Eye Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action The Cromol Eye Drop works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that may cause inflammation, spasm of muscles of the airways and other symptoms of asthma and allergies.
