Alchohol Interaction Taking Propranolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Pregnancy Interaction Corbeta 40mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Corbeta 40mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Corbeta may cause dizziness and lightheadedness. To avoid this, get up slowly after sitting or lying down. The Corbeta may affect your blood sugar and cover up the symptoms of low blood sugar if you have diabetes. Corbeta may reduce blood flow to your hands and feet, causing them to feel cold. Smoking may worsen this effect. Dress warmly and avoid the use of tobacco. Consult your doctor whether to continue Corbeta before any scheduled surgery. How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Corbeta 40mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Avoid Corbeta 40mg Tablet with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Corbeta 40mg Tablet may cause visual disturbances, hallucinations, fatigue, mental confusion, dizziness or tiredness. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney Corbeta 40mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Corbeta 40mg Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease. Corbeta 40mg Tablet may be started with a low dose and then increased further. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.
Liver Corbeta 40mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Corbeta 40mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.
