Alchohol Interaction It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT.
Pregnancy Interaction Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Expert Advice Clariwin will cure your infection and improve symptoms. It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Clariwin.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if you are experiencing stomach upset.Avoid Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
Driving Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Clariwin 125mg Tablet DT is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
