How to Use This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Centaflox DX Eye Drop may cause dizziness (vertigo). Changes in your eyesight or muscle weakness may also happen. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney Centaflox DX Eye Drop is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Centaflox DX Eye Drop may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of kidney function tests and other blood tests is advisable while you are taking Centaflox DX Eye Drop.
Liver Centaflox DX Eye Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Centaflox DX Eye Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Centaflox DX Eye Drop is a combination of three medicines: Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection. Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause redness, swelling and itching.
