How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cefredrox-O Tablet is to be taken with food.
Driving Cefredrox-O Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Cefredrox-O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cefredrox-O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Cefredrox-O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cefredrox-O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Cefredrox-O Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime and Ofloxacin. Cefpodoxime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacteria from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
