Pregnancy Interaction Caplor AS Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Caplor AS Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Indigestion, Increased bleeding tendency.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Caplor AS Tablet is to be taken with food.Taking it with food helps to avoid stomach upset.
Driving Caplor AS Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Caplor AS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Caplor AS Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Caplor AS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Caplor AS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Caplor AS Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Caplor AS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Mechanism of action Caplor AS Tablet is a combination of two antiplatelet medicines: Aspirin and Clopidogrel which prevent heart attack. They work by preventing the platelets from sticking together and decrease the formation of harmful blood clots.
