Pregnancy Interaction Cans LB Tablet VT may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Cans LB Tablet VT is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Common Side Effect Vaginal burning sensation, Itching, Irritation.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Dip the tablet in lukewarm water just to moisten it. Lie on your back and gently insert the tablet into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label. It is best to use it just before bedtime.
Driving Cans LB Tablet VT does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Cans LB Tablet VT should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cans LB Tablet VT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Cans LB Tablet VT is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cans LB Tablet VT may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Cans LB Tablet VT is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Miconazole which treat vaginal infections. Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Miconazole is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from making their protective covering.
