| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cafigesic Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Cafigesic Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans. |
| Driving | Cafigesic Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Cafigesic Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cafigesic Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, Cafigesic Tablet contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients. |
| Liver | Cafigesic Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Cafigesic Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Cafigesic Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease. |
| Mechanism of action | Cafigesic Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Caffeine which relieves headache.tnParacetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Caffeine narrows the blood vessels in the brain to reduce the headache. It also increases the effectiveness of Paracetamol. |
